This 91cm white extension rod is designed to specifically suit indoor Hunter ceiling fans.
The extension rod can be shortened to your desired length, however care must be applied when re-drilling the holes. This extension rod is also threaded on both ends.
If your ceiling fan is being installed on a ceiling higher than 9ft then an extension rod is necessary.
Ceiling fans can lose up to 20% of their effectiveness if they are installed in rooms with high ceilings without using an extension rod.
