This 91cm raw aluminium / stainless steel extension rod has a rust-proof stainless steel construction specifically suited for outdoor Hunter ceiling fans.
The extension rod can be shortened to your desired length, however care must be applied when re-drilling the holes.
If your ceiling fan is being installed on a ceiling higher then 9ft then an extension rod is necessary.
Ceiling fans can lose up to 20% of their effectiveness if they are installed in rooms with high ceilings without using an extension rod.
