Questions & Answers
Ask New Question
Why is my new ventair airbus extractor fan not extracting air. It sounds like it is operating normally but absolutely no suction
Asked by R Han from Berry, NSW - 07 July 2019

Hi Han, sorry to know that your exhaust is not working as per your expectations.
There are a few reasons for this to happen if the fan is still running as normal (as you mentioned it sounds like it is working normally), like whether there is a window or a door in the area which can let the air in (an exhaust cannot extract any air if there is no way to pull the air in from somewhere), or something blocking the exhaust outlet or the butterfly flaps (that prevents air from coming in from outside) or something blocked in and around the ducting.
If none of this in an issue you can raise a warranty claim with the manufacturer if it is still covered under warranty and you have purchased it from an authorised retailer (like us). Kind Regards.
