Questions & Answers

Ask New Question

How do I program a new remote to work with an existing Mercator ceiling fan. It currently won't turn off at all.

Asked by Louise Barnes from Manly NSW - 05 May 2016

Hi Louise,

Thanks for your message.

It sounds like your remote control control needs to be re-set and I would suggest calling up Mercator's technical team and they will be able to help you out. They will run you through step by step how to re-set your remote control and help you through any other issues.

Mercators's contact number is 1300 55 2255.

If you have any further questions please let me know.

Kind Regards - Zarah

What is the reason for having the extra button that doesn't have a function? What is it reserved to do?

Asked by Marg Clark from South Australia - 12 March 2016

Hi Marg,

Thanks for your message.

I have had a look through  are the remote control, and a the button in the middle is a reserved button and at this stage has no function.

If you have any further questions please let me know.
